The Brard Blanchard VSOP Cognac is a very special blend that comes from a 100% organic produce. The Brard Blanchard family maintains a strict organic winery and upholds firm standards of producing high-quality Cognacs while using 100% organic produce.
The Cognac VSOP Brard Blanchard is a blend of everything organically grown and manually harvested. The Cognac consists of Ugni Blanc, Colombard and Folle Blanche grapes, and has been aged for over 10 years in French oak barrels from Limousin.Wineries that are 100% organic is still a minority in the Cognac world due to the extensive care needed and high upkeep.
The VSOP Brard Blanchard is classified as Very Superior Old Pale. The origin of the abbreviation VSOP dates back to 1817 when King George IV asked the House of Hennessy for a "Very Superior Old Pale", which it has become a benchmark for all Cognac houses from then on.

Heritage of Brard Blanchard
The family of the Domaine Brard Blanchard has worked on the vineyard for almost four generations. Beginning their quest for the highest quality of Cognac in 1972 with polyculture, vines, and dairy but it was only in 1976 when they focused all of their efforts into viticulture and marketing. The vines are all grown organically and manually harvest for every product. The estate is located on the southern slopes that border the Charente.
