COGNAC PAUL GIRAUD & Fils ist ein familiengeführtes Weingut in Bouteville, einem kleinen Dorf im Herzen der Grande Champagne, dem Premier Cru von Cognac. Das Weingut wird seit 1635 von Vater zu Sohn weitergegeben. Paul Jean Giraud, geboren 1952, ist die 10. Generation, die das Anwesen führt.
1975 gründeten Paul Jean und sein Vater Cognac Paul Giraud, und die Marke wurde 1976 mit dem Beginn der Abfüllung gegründet. Fünf Jahre lang entwickelte Paul Jean den Verkauf in Frankreich, bevor er 1980 mit dem Export begann. Derzeit werden ihre Cognacs selektiv in Frankreich in Feinkostgeschäften, Weingeschäften und Restaurants vertrieben und in mehr als 35 Länder weltweit exportiert. In Fortsetzung und Übertragung arbeitet Paul, der Sohn von Paul Jean (11. Generation), zusammen mit seinem Vater.
