Beschreibung
At 46°, the Lheraud Vintage 1982 Fins Bois Cognac is what is known as 'cask-strength'. This means that the eaux-de-vie has been allowed to naturally strengthen wihin traditional oak barrels, until the expert blenders at Lheraud Cognac deemed it ready for bottling.
This is a Cognac from the harvest of 1982, of grapes grown in the Fins Bois terroir of the region. Offering a distinctly different taste sensation from the other crus, Cognacs produced solely from soils of Fins Bois are fast becoming some of the most sought after by those who know their Cognac. And with good reason, because the grapes grown here offer delightfully complex, woody, flowery aromas and tastes, with a satisfying freshness from the very best that Mother Nature has to offer. This 1982 vintage is a great Cognac that will make a fine addition to any drinks cabinet.
Über Lheraud Cognac
The family Lheraud have been involved in winemaking and cognac production for hundreds of years, but it was only in 1970 that exportation and promotion really began in earnest. Now producing not only cognac, but Pineau des Charentes and Armagnac as well, Lheraud exports its wares worldwide – and continues to expand into more countries on a yearly basis. Today’s owners – Andrée and Guy Lheraud – concentrate on producing Cognac Lheraud strictly on a traditional basis, and continue to work tirelessly to introduce their products to more countries and communities throughout the world.
