The house of Grosperrin collaborates with more than 150 local Cognac businesses spread across all six of the Cognac growing areas. In total, Grosperrin has contact with almost 4,300 farms which make up the rich and diverse grapes of the Cognac region. With years of buying and selling expertise under its belt, the house of Grosperrin sources the finest eaux-de-vie the region has to offer. This is done all in the hope of achieving their ultimate ambition of achieving the finest expressions of the terroir.
Dressed in a modern, heavy-based decanter with a wide neck and bottle opening, the design by Swell de Spirits features a unique tiled pattern across its label work. While the golden hues of the eaux-de-vie contained inside are certainly enough to capture attention, the bold blue and red contrast of the floral print label design create an eye-catching effect that is sure to brighten up any spirits collection. La maison de Cognac indépendante Grosperrin est une maison relativement nouvelle dans la région, n'ayant été créée qu'en 1999 par son fondateur, Jean Grosperrin. Grosperrin est basé à Saintes qui se situe entre les terroirs de Fins Bois et Borderies et il est aujourd'hui dirigé par le fils de Jean, Guilhelm, qui a pris la relève en 2004 à seulement 23 ans.
La mission de Guilhelm est de découvrir les producteurs de toute la région afin de créer des Cognacs vraiment uniques à partir des six crus. Cette vision a été rendue possible par les relations fantastiques que Jean Grosperrin a tissées avec les producteurs, et que Guilhelm a depuis construites et élargies. Aujourd'hui, Grosperrin travaille avec plus de 150 producteurs de Cognac, parmi lesquels Guilhelm sélectionnera méticuleusement des fûts pour les transformer en exquises bouteilles.
