Description
Cognac XO from Marquis de La Fayette
The Marquis de La Fayette XO Cognac is the epitome of the La Fayette spirit, halfway between sweetness and power. La Fayette Cognac is named after Marquis La Fayette, a great hero of the American Revolutionary War, who later played a crucial role in the French Revolution.
La Fayette XO has been stored for up to 15 years before it can be enjoyed. In the first 10-14 months, the Cognac is heavily roasted in new oak casks and then stored in red aged casks for the rest of the process to mature. The Cognac is made from 75 different eaux-de-vie - 30% Fins Bois, 20% Grande Champagne and 50% Petite Champagne.
Ensuring the taste and the quality of the XO Marquis de La Fayette is their number one priority, and so tastings are conducted each time the Cognac goes through a reduction process.
How to serve
Enjoy the drink as a digestif after dinner or during a nice dinner with family and friends. You can even drink it with a couple of ice cubes to unwind after a long day. We do suggest to use a Cognac snifter glass is suggested for a traditional tasting moment.
