Giraud Cognac is gevestigd in het belangrijkste Cognac wijngebied "Premier Cru" van de Grande Champagne, waardoor Giraud een voortreffelijk Cognac assortiment kan produceren, van een 6 jaar oude tot een 50 jaar oude Cognac. Het domein is gevestigd in Bouteville, en met enkele extra wijngaarden in St. Même-les-Carrières, komt het teeltgebied op 35 hectare. Het Cognachuis combineert een sterk geloof in traditionele methoden met een moderne kijk op de Cognac productie, waarbij elke vorm van chemicaliën of pesticiden in de landbouw en kleurstoffen in de uiteindelijke blends worden vermeden. Het werk aan de planten en de eigenlijke oogst van de druiven gebeurt nog steeds manueel, waardoor de best mogelijke behandeling van de druiven wordt verzekerd om de hoogste kwaliteit voor de eau-de-vie te genereren. Giraud produceert ook alleen zuivere vintage Cognacs, wat betekent dat ze nooit eaux-de-vie van verschillende jaren mengen, maar vertrouwen op de fijne verschillen tussen de jaarlijkse vintages.
