Tiffon Très Vieille Reserve Fins Bois Cognac

Slightly darker amber with copper & gold highlights. The first nose is aggressively spice and fruit, but becoming refined and complex over time. Lots of spice notes, hints of fruit, not so much astringent as sour/sweet. The finish lingers longest on the sides of the tongue.

Nose: Every easy on the nose, you can smell the spiciness. The after taste is awesome. Nice and smooth on the palate, the bite from the spicy notes leave a peppery minty after taste that's uncommon. This would go well with some traditional Asian foods.

I haven't' tasted this cognac in a long time, this became a positive surprise. It has a nice deep amber color. On the nose it is very delicate with old elegant wood tones.
