Description
A Fins Bois Vintage Cognac from 1996
We invite you to discover a gorgeous Millésime from Vaudon Cognac - the Vaudon 1996 Vintage Cognac. Pierre Vaudon is indeed the cellar master of Francois Voyer, and also owns his own vineyards to create his own little piece of heaven in a bottle. Located in Echallat, it covers approximately 60 hectares in the Grande Champagne and Fins Bois. This Vintage is, in fact, a snapshot of the Fins Bois cru, which hugs the Fine Champagne and Borderies crus. They have the capacity to create a floral and fruity soft eaux-de-vie.
How to serve
This Cognac is a fine digestif or an accompaniment to a Cuban cigar.
Presentation
It is bottled at 48% ABV, and arrives in a classic decanter and an elaborate presentation sleeve.
À propos de Vaudon Cognac
The Vaudon grounds are composed of 60 hectares with the main estate being located in Fins Bois, the largest of all the Cognac growth regions. Vaudon produces both single cru Fins Bois Cognacs and ‘multicru’ blends of these with the neighbouring Grande Champagne.
Pierre Vaudon, Maître de Chai and also owner of Maison Francois Voyer, is responsible for the Vaudon family estate. The family’s distilling origins can be traced back as far as 1771, and they have always produced outstanding Cognacs, even winning a gold medal for their 1811 vintage Cognac in 1913.
