Henny VS: oaky, fresh, spicy and sweet. It has boldness, nice texture/viscosity, and wide availability. Hennessy, just like Jonny Walker, I'd an epitome of success and a favorite scapegoat to a myriads of self proclaimed " connoisseurs" on the internet. To each, their own. Henny VS greets with a bold scent of vanilla, grapes and oak. More oak. Rich caramel and leather. Menthol. The palate exhibits a good balance between smoothness and flavor. More oak, overripe fruit. Rather sweet. Milk chocolate. Lengthy finish with spice, vanilla, nuts and oak.
Surprisingly good for a VS. This cognac's price is higher than many VSOPs, but the quality is good. Some older eau de vies are blended in, bringing it closer to the VSOP level.
