Excellent Single Cask Cognac
Exceptional 90 /100
Single Cask Cognac that was distilled in 1988 from 100% Petite Champagne. It was bottled at Cask Strength, 54.1%, and yielded 303 bottles. 11 casks were sampled, and they chose a winner!! Lovely notes of nut, brown sugar, and some spice on the nose, with some fruit notes appearing as it opens more. The palate delivers everything on the nose, along with some additional peppery spices, and in a long finish!! Great stuff! My score was 92.5
