Godet Pearadise: a Touch of Sweetness

This unique marriage of pear essence and Cognac is based on a century-old recipe. Godet Pearadise Liqueur beautifully blends old Cognac with the sweetness of ripe pears, aged in French oak for extra depth. Intended for use in mixology or simply enjoyed on its own, this is a great liqueur to keep at hand to add a sweet touch to the everyday. 

Founded in 1782, Godet Cognac ranges amongst the oldest Cognac houses. The Godet family has been based in the seaside town and former trading hub La Rochelle for 400 years and since the very beginnings of Cognac production, they have played an important role in perfecting this culture. Cognac Godet has been in the hands of the same family for 14 generations, who have placed tradition and excellence at the heart of their business. Godet is also one of the few Cognac producers who focus on cultivating and using the Folle Blanche grape variety, the original Cognac grape.

The Godet family's expertise in wine-making results in outstanding wine and Champagne as well as Cognac - an excellent standing for a family-run company. The business is headed by Godet president Jean-Jacques Godet, assisted by his three sons Jean Eduard, Maxime and Cyril.

Presentation of the Bottle

Godet Pearadise comes in an elegant, slim bottle decorated with pear tree branches. The gold foil seal adds a premium touch. 

How to Serve 

This fabulous liqueur is perfect served as a digestif on its own or over ice, or used in a range of cocktails. Why not try it in a Pear Bellini:

  • 25ml Godet Pearadise
  • 10ml lemon juice
  • 12.5ml Pear puree

Shake everything with ice in a cocktail shaker and strain into a chilled flute glass. Top with Champagne and serve immediately. This is a great drink to serve for parties and receptions; you can prepare the glasses with the pear base and then simply top them with Champagne as your guests arrive.

Over Godet Cognac

The house of Godet has been run by the family for 14 generations. It is a perfect example of a cognac house that deeply believes in the tradition of this spirit and its origins. At the same time, Godet manages to move with modern times, having recently created a cognac from a grape that is almost extinct in the cognac industry: Folle Blache. This cognac is called "Antarctica Godet" and was inspired by a 2-month sailing trip to the South Pole.
