Omschrijving
Hardy Four Seasons Winter Lalique Cognac: a Complete Cycle
A celebration of nature’s cycle, Hardy presents the Four Seasons Winter Cognac, in collaboration with prestigious designer Marie-Claude Lalique. L’Hiver is the climax of the Four Seasons collection, crowned by an ice blue tiara on top of the decanter, symbolizing dormant vines. This delightful blend of century-old eaux-de-vie completes the cycle of the Four Seasons.
Between the two world wars, Armand Hardy, grandson of the founder of this famous Cognac House, set aside his very best casks of Cognac for their exceptionally fine flavor and bouquet. An assemblage of small batches of eaux-de-vie sourced from the Premier Cru, this expression has benefitted from the unique geological composition, optimal soil conditions and exceptional sun exposure that the Grande Champagne has to offer. Last but not least, the extended maturation of this Hors d’Age Cognac has given it an outstanding depth of flavor that only time can create,
Presentation of the Decanter
Positioned in the center of a round box made of white leather and green pastel, the bottle is revealed by a clever opening system from the front of the box. With a feminine silhouette, the decanter perfectly shows off the amber of the spirit, and the cap is etched with light blue reflections, a tribute to the creations of René Lalique at the turn of the twentieth century.
How to Serve
To enjoy this finely crafted Cognac at its best, serve as a digestif in tulip glasses at room temperature. It’s also the perfect accompaniment to desserts or a cigar.
Over Hardy Cognac
With a history dating back to 1863, Cognac Hardy is well known for quality cognacs and traditional production methods. Passed down throughout the generations, this family house of cognac, which can be recognized by its rooster logo, was one of the very first to embrace the spoils of a worldwide distribution network. Thanks to the love of an entrepreneurial Englishman for the French Charentaise countryside, Cognac Hardy boasts a 150 year history of providing a range of cognacs to the four corners of the globe.
