La marque n'a vu le jour qu'il y a quelques années, la première mise en bouteille d'un cognac vendu sous la marque Fanny Fougerat ayant été lancée en novembre 2013. Cependant, les traditions et le savoir-faire de cette famille de viticulteurs remontent à plus de quatre générations, au cours desquelles elle vendait ses eaux-de-vie aux plus grandes maisons de Cognac.
