Pure elegance

This is a Grande Champagne aged for about a generation, that means around 30 years. So it is a rather young cognac. It is also a blend of several eau de vies.
This cognac is very nice looking with a oily and golden look. There are clear tears on the glass. On the nose, you will find a fruity expression with some chocolate and vanila. In addition there are some floral notes. In the beginning it is very subtle in the mouth. There are some spices on the tongue. But after some time it develops into a very elegant cognac. You need to give it time and have a big sip to get the full picture. The after taste is also broad and nice. For me this is a nice young cognac. But I would never pay 250 euros for such a bottle. Then I would rather add some euros and buy Lot 53 from the same producer. But I wouldn't hesitate to taste it again, or to buy in in a bar or in a restaurant.
