An Absolute Must!

The Cognac is a blend of eaux-de-vie from Fine Champagne. The bottle is square with a solid foundation. The bottle I have is 1L in size and purchased at an excellent price. Very traditional and classic design. The cognac is dark caramel in color. The initial aroma was very fruity with notes of floral. I always drink my XO cognac neat and warmed slightly by hand.
It presented a complex taste on my palate. I initially tasted vanilla with a hint of hazelnut. The Cognac is very smooth, with a floral and fruity taste on the palate. Actually, one of the smoothest cognacs I have experienced. I did not experience any spicey finish at the initial tasting, but subsequent tastings opened my palate to supplementary senses. The taste is exceptionally smooth and very easy to drink. This cognac provided an excellent coat on tongue and throat. I experienced a lengthy, robust finish. Braastad XO was a very present surprise. I immediately procured two additional bottles. This was an excellent Cognac. I would highly recommend it.
