Het domein van Cognac Pierre Ferrand ligt direct in de 'gouden driehoek' van de Grande Champagne in Cognac en is eigendom van en wordt geleid door Alexandre Gabriel. Gespecialiseerd in oude en zeer oude Cognacs, wordt Pierre Ferrand alleen op bestelling gebotteld en verscheept. Zij hebben ook een aantal unieke eigen productietechnieken ontwikkeld die worden gebruikt bij het rijpings- en distillatieproces en hebben innovatieve manieren van samenwerking met kleinschaligere producenten geïntroduceerd. Zowel de wijngaarden als het hoofdkantoor van het bedrijf zijn gevestigd in het 18e eeuwse Château de Bonbonnet in Ars, op slechts 10 km van het centrum van Cognac zelf.
