Description
Tesseron Lot N°76 XO Tradition Magnum Cognac
Cognac Tesseron Lot N°76 XO Tradition Magnum is an exceptional blend of reserve stocks of Grande Champagne Cognac, matured to perfection in old casks. Lot n°76 immediately establishes its quality on the nose, which exhibits a wealth of caramelised peaches, almond, and candied fruit aromas. This carries on magnificently through to the palate, with rich, delicate flavours of nuts and dried fruits - a wonderful range of tasteful sensations.
Experts in high-end luxury Cognac, Tesseron exclusively produce Cognacs that have been to XO standards and beyond. Based in the heart of Chateauneuf-sur-Charente, which lies between Cognac and Angouleme, Tesseron pride themselves on the carefully selected premier cru grape varieties used to produce their exceptional eaux-de-vie. Tesseron Cognacs have great complexity and depth as the 'maître de chai' creates a subtle blend of three grape varieties: Ugni Blanc for roundness, Folle Blanche for finesse and Colombard for strength and depth. Today, Alfred Tesseron is the third generation of the Tesseron family to head the house of Tesseron and he remains deep rooted in the truest tradition of Cognac and wine.
Description of the bottle
Everything about the Tesseron Lot N°76 XO Tradition Magnum Cognac oozes luxury. The decanter comes as no exception. Showcasing this premier cru Cognac’s deep mahogany bronze coloring, the elegant slim shape and golden typography add the glamorous finishing touches to this Cognac and ensure it’s dripping in class. The accompanying protective box makes it the perfect generous gift to someone special. Likewise, this would be worthy of its place as a collector's item.
How to enjoy
A Cognac of this exclusive quality is best enjoyed as an after-dinner digestif at Christmas, as a contemplative drink. Cool it to room temperature, or drink it slightly chilled. Allow it to warm slowly in the glass, which will release waves of aroma. Then, pour around an inch of Cognac into a tulip-shaped snifter, while pausing to take in the aromas. Take small sips to appreciate the smoothness of the Cognac, and watch its layers unfold. With its lengthy finish - you’ll enjoy it long after it’s gone.

Great Value
I am a true connoisseur and I didn't have high expectations, however this one was fantastic. From nose to finish I truly enjoyed the experience. I shared with several friends and in one night the contents from the bottle disappeared. That never happens even with a normal sized bottle, but it did...
About Tesseron Cognac
Tesseron Cognac specializes in high-end Cognac, exclusively producing “XO and beyond” blends from their ancestral home in Chateauneuf-sur-Charente, which lies between Cognac and Angouleme. When founder Abel Tesseron, whose face features on the company’s logo, acquired the property in the late 19th century, he patiently conserved his stocks of eaux-de-vie in the 12th-century crypt located deep underneath the domain, selling his matured masterpieces to various larger Cognac houses. These reserved and rare stocks have become legendary amongst Cognac connoisseurs the world over. It was, however, only in 2003 that the fourth generation of Tesserons made the decision to release a range under their own name, armed with an unrivalled Cognac craftsmanship and fueled by the legacy left by their grandfather, the iconic brand Tesseron Cognac was born.
The Tesserons are also active in wine production, owning the esteemed Chateau Pontet-Canet, a Pauillac classified property producing Grand Cru Classé Bordeaux Wine.
