We’ve gone above and beyond to select for you Cognacs of the oldest ages possible, meaning every bottle holds 3cl of Cognac aged to perfection, guaranteed to contain that undeniable Cognac flavor to its fullest effect. No, this year’s Calendar will introduce you to a fresh new selection of premium Cognacs - focus on Hors d'Age, Extra, mature Cognacs. A stunning concentration of exceptionally mature spirits.
Which Cognacs and brands are included in the 2026 Calendar?
You can uncover the mystery here - if you want. More Cognacs will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Once you open your calendar, you’ll be able to access the details of all 24 Cognacs. You'll find a tasting journal in your parcel complete with all product, producer, and tasting information.
When will my Cognac Calendar be shipped?
Your Cognac Expert Calendar will likely be shipped in September, October & November - in time for the Christmas and advent time of the year.
What will I receive?
24 x 30 ml tasting bottles at minimum 40% ABV.

Focus on Extra, Hors d’Age and in general old Cognacs (Younger Cognac varieties, VS, VSOP - are excluded).
A tasting journal book, with all product and producer info, including a tasting note section for you to complete. The tasting book replaces the podcasts. You will still get all information about products and producers.
Why are the sample bottles made of plastic (PET), not glass?
Our 30 ml tasting bottles use food-grade PET (Rixius 9-3540-0030-18), manufactured specifically for contact with food and high-proof spirits like Cognac. This PET is BPA-free, contains no plasticizers (phthalates), and complies with EU Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 on plastics intended for food contact. An assessment by Germany’s Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR, 2020) confirmed there is no health risk from PET, even with high-ABV spirits.
We also use PET because it is far more shipping-safe than glass across 24 individual mini bottles travelling internationally, which significantly reduces the risk of breakage.
Where do I find the Cognac featured in previous years?
Why do I have to pay for shipping now?
Shipping logistics and customs handling, especially due to changing export rules, have become increasingly complex and costly. To keep things transparent and fair, we now pass real shipping and handling costs directly to each customer.
We’ve moved away from our previous model where shipping costs were averaged across all customers. With recent changes in export processes, we now charge actual shipping costs per order. For most customers, this means the total price (including shipping) will actually be lower than in previous years, even though there’s no longer a “free shipping” label.
Unfortunately, this is not the case for the US. We have little control over this topic. We are regrettably caught in the crosshairs of these recent tariff and trade disputes. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Can I estimate my cost before ordering?
Yes! During checkout, you’ll see the exact shipping cost based on your country. This way, there are no surprises after you place the order.
If shipping is added now, does the total cost change?
Yes, but not necessarily up. Since we no longer overcharge to “cover” shipping, many customers will find their all-inclusive total (calendar + shipping) is actually cheaper than last year.
Why didn’t you keep “free shipping” and just charge a higher calendar price?
We prefer full cost transparency. By listing the calendar price separately from shipping, you can see exactly what you’re paying for each part. It also protects against future fluctuations in shipping costs, which we commit not to hide in the product price.
What if customs duties apply to my country?
For orders outside the EU, your customs office may require additional import duties or taxes upon delivery. These are never included in our shipping estimate and must be handled by you. This doe not apply for the United States.
What about shipping to the US?
Effective 1 August 2025, the US Government increased the Section 301 tariff on spirits (including cognac) from 10 % to 15 %. Our carrier has now updated its systems to the new rate and we have resumed shipping for standard bottles at that tariff level.
We expect to launch the calendar in the US in September.
Unfortunately, we have little control over this topic. We are regrettably caught in the crosshairs of these recent tariff and trade disputes. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Learn more.
I’m in the US, what about the Early Bird offer?
No worries! You’ll still benefit from the exact same Early Bird offer as everyone else. Even though shipping to the US starts in September, your Early Bird discount and perks will remain available for the same time period as for all other customers worldwide.
