De Charville Frères XO Cognac

A rich and spicy, very old blend with a prevailing powerful rancio, XO Charville Freres defines elegance, as it rolls over the palate with grace into a lingering finish of vanilla and toasted nuts. Matured in French oak barrels for 15 to 25 years, this XO beholds a lifetime of craftsmanship and expertise. A gem of the Grande Champagne region to be treasured by those lucky enough to get their hands on a bottle.

Producing exclusively Premier cru, Grande Champagne products, De Charville Frères offers a small but high quality range of Cognacs that make up “the Golden Age of Cognac” Collection. Created in wake of the brands philosophy to produce high quality, elegant Cognacs, De Charville Frères strives to represent the prestigious Premier Cru with style.

Presentation of the bottle

Revealing the Cognac's bright red-brown shades with golden highlights, the classic design of the bottle is in keeping with brands ode to timeless elegance. The simple yet stylish presentation proves that not only can Maison De Charville Frères produce excellent quality Cognac, but they succeed when it comes to the branding and bottling too. Attention to detail is displayed as a hand-written signature finishes each and every bottle with a personal touch.

How to enjoy

Due to its age and long maturation process, it may be preferred to enjoy De Charville XO on its own or on the rocks. This way the aromas will develop over time and offer an immersive experience upon tasting. However, keen mixologists may also be intrigued by this XO as it combines blissful as the base of a punchy cocktail. The house of De Charville Frères recommends the Golden Brandy:

7 cl. Cognac De Charville

3 cl Timut pepper syrup

3 cl. Lemon juice

7 cl. Pimento Ginger Beer

Mix all of the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and strain well. Pour into a glass of your choice and enjoy.
