Description
True Tradition: The XO Cognac from the Legendary Tiffon Estate
Aged in oak casks for between 15 and 25 years with eaux-de-vie exclusively from the finest crus, this XO Cognac from the Tiffon estate delivers fine and distinct flavors of dried fruits, with a prevailing scent of vanilla and caramel. An elegant and lengthy finish of sweet cocoa and spice.
The Tiffon estate is legendary as it is the largest family-run company within Cognac, the entire production process is controlled on their grounds, growing the grapes across 40 hectares of vines in both the Grande Champagne and Fins Bois regions.
After harvesting, all distillation takes place on site, with their Cognacs sitting in 15,000 oak casks, each holding 350 liters of Cognac, patiently maturing in one of 13 large warehouses.
How to Enjoy
The sweet flavors from this XO Cognac should be enjoyed neat, but can equally be sipped alongside a coffee or hot beverage as a digestif, its flavors of warm, exotic spices would pair perfectly with a rich chocolate dessert or mousse.
Presentation of the Bottle
This decanter is a true representation of the hard work and family values that go into each Cognac that this estate produces. The wonderfully wide decanter allows the light to pass through the rich, amber Cognac, perfectly complementing the deep red tones of the Tiffon label.
The golden tones found on both label and stopper only serve to reinforce the high quality of the produce stored within.
An elegant and timeless decanter that comes with a case signed by Monsieur Tiffon himself, ideal for gifting or storage purposes.

Tiffon XO
In the glass, the XO also pours a deep amber color but with a slight metallic copper tint. Dipping my nose into the glass, it is apparent that this Cognac shares the same DNA as the Supreme, but with aromas that are more lifted, more elegant, and more precise. The chocolate, toffee, and vanilla...
About Tiffon Cognac
With strong ties to the Scandinavian country of Norway, the history of Cognac Tiffon dates back to 1875. Tiffon is to this day a family run business, and is based at the beautiful family home, the Chateau de Triac, just 5 kms from the town of Jarnac. The Chateau itself has a battle-scarred and convoluted history, dating back to the 11th century, which includes being razed to the ground by fires and completely demolished during the Hundred Years’ War. Today, the family grows 40 hectares of Grande Champagne and Fins Bois vines, overseen by cellar master Richard Braastad, who comes from an old cognac producers’ family.
