ABK6 XXO Grande Champagne Cognac
ABÉCASSIS XXO Grande Champagne Cognac is a blissfully unique blend of extra, extra old eaux-de-vie. Having aged for a minimum age of 14 years, many of its components will have spent much longer maturing in the barrel before bottling in order to produce a finished Cognac with such outstanding complexity.
Founded by Francis Abécassis, ABK6 is a contemporary company deeply rooted in history. Dating back over 200 years, the estate boasts over 230 hectares within the Cognac region. Whilst an age-old process is used to create the classic Cognac, modernising the traditional beverage has become the focus over the past ten years. Every inch of the production process, including grape growing, winemaking, distillation, maturation, blending, bottling and labelling has had a keen eye cast over it. ABK6 guarantees today’s high standard of excellence at every step of the Cognac journey.
Presentation of the bottle
Housed in a contemporary and quirky carafe, this bottle is sure to stand proudly amongst others on the liquor shelf. The bottle’s smooth curves and a black and silver colour scheme are in keeping with Cognac's sophisticated aromatic profile and inject added elegance to the overall aesthetic with bags of style. Arriving with an accompanying presentation box, it makes the perfect gift for a Cognac enthusiast or connoisseur who likes to collect well-aged offerings.
How to enjoy
A fine XXO of such exceptional quality merits your utmost attention when it comes to serving. To appreciate its aromatics in their entirety, pour ABK6 XXO Grande Champagne into a tulip glass neat or on the rocks.
About ABK6 Cognac
Owned by Francis Abécassis (a homonym of ABK6 when pronounced in French), ABK6 Cognac is a relatively young brand based in the Domaine de Chez Maillard near the village of Claix. The brand is known for its choice to produce single estate Cognacs, with its eaux-de-vie being carefully selected from their 220 hectares of land, specifically for their aromatic intensity and indulgence. The label has shaken up the industry by introducing a young and modern spirit to a traditional drink, without compromising on quality. The company is now one of the largest independent producers in Cognac, and also owns the brands Leyrat, Reviseur and Grands Domaines. Attention to detail is applied to every single aspect of production at ABK6, with sustainable growing methods, Charentaise distillation and precise blending. It’s no wonder the group has taken home over 60 awards in recent years.
