Savor every sip of the sublime and stunning ABK6 Renaissance XO Cognac
This innovative team at ABK6 have struck gold with their XO Renaissance Cognac (quite literally, winning Gold at both The 2019 World Cognac Awards and 2016 Spirits Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles). Known for going the extra mile with their depth of flavor and presentation, ABK6 have created a truly exceptional XO both in their decanter design and the complex Cognac stored within it. Just like an artist of the Renaissance period, the master blenders have quite simply created a masterpiece, a marvel for the mouth and nose housed in an artistic and appealing carafe.
Aged for at least 10 years in oak casks, it is in every sense a work of art.
A true aromatic adventure, this XO has it all, from woody to zesty, with fruity and floral flavors, suggestions of spice and nutty notes. Savor the sweet and spicy sensations of licorice, figs and orange peel on the nose, with cedar wood permeating onto the palate, the rich textures of hazelnut, walnut and candied spices round out this wonderful XO, ending on a lengthy and exceptional finish.
A simply superb Cognac to be enjoyed with friends on a special occasion.

How to serve
Sip and savor this Renaissance XO with friends as a post-dinner treat, the complexity and variety in its flavors mean this Cognac should not be rushed and, above all, should be enjoyed neat.
Presentation of the bottle
A stylish and carefully crafted carafe, the wide shape of the bottle beautifully displays the deep, mahogany color of this exquisite XO. The carafe’s sublime design is further enhanced by a chic silver presentation box for gifting or storage purposes.
Great on paper not on nose
This cognac failed my research analytic review process (at these prices it's prudent). I found many different sources that gave this XO a must try rating. Its' nose, taste and finish are muted and minor league in comparison to Frapin Frontpinot XO, Tesseron Lot 76 XO, or Paul Girade Vieille Reserve...
Great extra old
I don't love the nose but the palate is spectacular. just fantastic. Maybe a little expensive for what it is though, compared to other XOs.. and this is not even a fine champagne or grande champagne blend. nevertheless, i love the decanter and abk6 in general. i must compare to their standard xo though....
About ABK6 Cognac
Owned by Francis Abécassis (a homonym of ABK6 when pronounced in French), ABK6 Cognac is a relatively young brand based in the Domaine de Chez Maillard near the village of Claix. The brand is known for its choice to produce single estate Cognacs, with its eaux-de-vie being carefully selected from their 220 hectares of land, specifically for their aromatic intensity and indulgence. The label has shaken up the industry by introducing a young and modern spirit to a traditional drink, without compromising on quality. The company is now one of the largest independent producers in Cognac, and also owns the brands Leyrat, Reviseur and Grands Domaines. Attention to detail is applied to every single aspect of production at ABK6, with sustainable growing methods, Charentaise distillation and precise blending. It’s no wonder the group has taken home over 60 awards in recent years.
