Meukow XO Extra Old Cognac is a delightful blend of eaux-de-vie from Fine Champagne, Fins Bois, and Bons Bois. This fruity blend combines the tannins that occur after long aging on oak barrels, the delicacy of Grande and Petite Champagne, and the sweetness of Fins Bois and Bons Bois. It takes the taster on a true sensory journey, and of course, has the lengthy, powerful finish that you'd expect from a cognac of this quality.
The bottle itself is lovely to behold, adorned with the emblem of Meukow, the panther, in a wonderful golden hue. An award winning cognac that is the perfect addition to any cognac lover's cabinet. And it would make the perfect gift for anyone who appreciates fine things.

On the nose rather floral, slight fruits. On the palate more flower flavours and candied fruit. The finale is dominated by spices and smoke hints.
As the name suggests, the founders of Meukow cognac originated from Russia. In 1862 two brothers were sent over to France to supply the Tsar with cognac and decided to start their own cognac distillery. Today, Meukow, with the famous puma logo, ranks among the most well-known cognac brands in the world. Its qualities are strength, elegance, sensuality and exotism, the character traits of the puma. The distillery is housed in Matha in Charente Maritime.
