Description

Pasquet Très Vieille Petite Champagne Cognac

Pasquet Très Vieille Petite Champagne represents the coming together of three exceptional Cognacs, and thus the men who created each blend many years ago – the Cognac of Paul (L.49), the Cognac of Pierre(L.62) et the Cognac of André (L.73). With an average age of 58 years old, this micro-blend is a truly special offering that continues to transcend time as the years continue to pass us by.

An emblem of both the Petite Champagne Cru and the beauty of well-matured Cognac, Tres Vieille offers delectable character with exotic nuances including - roasted pineapples, hints of sweet and sour, cocoa, peach melba and nougat. Rancio prevails – significant of the Cognacs mature age in contrast with further sweet and fruity aromas that linger with elegance on the nose.

Renowned for reaching deep into ancestral history, Maison Pasquet strikes the perfect balance between remaining true to its heritage and following contemporary Cognac methods valued today. As both innovators and artisans, the family members who front the brand today continue to carefully craft small-batch Cognacs characterized by their natural beauty and infinite elegance.

Presentation of the bottle

Displaying an old gold robe with amber reflects, Cognac Très Vieille Petite Champagne represents tradition and heritage from presentation through to tasting. Housed in a classic decanter, the old-fashioned style label stamped with the Jean Pasquet logo offers an authentic touch to its modern branding with sophistication. Navy blue accents on the label work and wax seal equip the bottle with a contemporary aesthetic that remarkably complements the otherwise classic theme. A stylish bottle worthy of its place in any Cognac collection.

How to enjoy

An outstanding quality Cognac like this one should be enjoyed with utmost care and attention. Serve on its own at room temperature – or on the rocks if preferred. Slowly sip from a tulip glass to enable an even distribution of aroma and to appreciate how the zesty flavors evolve through the tasting. Pair with desserts such as a fruit tart or creme brulee to create an extraordinary interplay of delicate flavors.

About Pasquet Cognac

Certified organic Cognac house Pasquet perfectly strikes the balance between the warmth of family tradition and innovative savoir-faire. In order to revive a plot of vines during the 1990s, the Pasquet family reached deep into their ancestral history to rediscover its organic farming methods. It was here that they found a beautiful equilibrium not only in the ecosystem of their vines, but also in the Cognacs themselves. Since being awarded ‘Agriculture Biologique’ status in 1998, they haven’t looked back, continuing to craft small-batch Cognacs that epitomize natural beauty and balance. With versatile ranges such as ‘L’Organic’ and ‘Esprit de la Famille,’ the Pasquet family ensures that every step of production respects the environment, resulting in a very special collection of Cognacs.
