Definite signs of age on the nose. The fruit is deep, dark and plummy with a touch of rose and it smells like it’s been stored in a cigar box.
Stewed fruit on the front of the tongue, and then there are violets and chocolate before the tobacco and leather take over.
The finish is long, loaded with flavour and delightful.
This really does stand out as a first rate cognac.
