An intense Borderies
This is a decent Borderies with a lot of aromas and taste. For me it is simply too much. It is more interesting than very good. I love tasting it, but I will not buy a bottle. I would rather explore some of their vintages. On the good side, Giboin have very favourable prices.
It ought to be possible to live simply by inhaling the vapours from a cognac like this. The intensity is absolutely stunning. Fruit and yet more fruit, flowery, nutty, a suggestion of mangoes. I used a snifter glass (actually a French beer glass "La Gauloise") and swirled it slowly whilst cupping...
No clear spike
I got this cognac as a gift two years ago, so now it was time to taste it. And I was dissappointed. This cognac is somewhat shy on the nose, it takes time to find the beautiful fruit aromas that are in there. Orange is what you can identify most easily. In the mouth, this is a rather uncomplicated...
Chevalier cognac vs
A very beautiful drink under rated but its better than the big brand names on the market.. please definitely try it
Excellent & Amazing!!!
Really wonderful cognac, amazing taste and flavor! Great value for money.
Quite nice cognac... but for the money...you are much better off with a Deau Louis Memory or a Courvoisier 21 and have something you will enjoy much more!!!! I do like this... !!! but for the value.... i would advise you go for the other two!!!
A Great Cognac!!!
This is a wonderful cognac... quite worth the money... Terrific notes of spice and rancio, a great aftertaste... with a decent length!. As i recall a bit on the peppery side for my taste, so therefore i enjoyed it as a fantastic companion with my cuban cigar, such as a Partagas P2 or E2... I highly...
Aubineau un petite mysterie n'est pas?
This Cognac perplexes me each time i drink it... considered its 63 years aged in barrels, i dont quite understand why i have to go hunting for the rancio in the nose... its a little higher in alcohol content which i prefer a 40% to be honest... but wonderful almost over candied fruit aromas on the...
This cognac I quite enjoyed... heavy nose of candied fruit and a touch of rancio... the taste was quite elegant with a sweet and candied fruit taste while the finish had a decent length..... the story of this cognac is quite nice.. BUT not one for the grand champagne "only" connoisseur!!!
This is my first reviews after years of absence, also testing Cognac Experts new reviewing system (because they asked me to test it via email). I purchased this XO because it was highlighted as cognac of the month. First time ever tasting Tesseron and I am surprised. I do not quite agree with the...
