The Lheraud XO Vieux Millenaire Cognac is a 25 year old delight that's slightly over-proof at 43%. If you've not yet heard of this small, artisan house, then you're in for a truly pleasant surprise. Although the house only began exporting their wares in earnest in the 1970s, their expertise dates back for centuries.
This rich, intense cognac will appeal to those who enjoy sweeter aromas and tastes in their tipple. Presented in a decanter-style bottle with olde world type label, this XO quality takes the drinker on a journey of the senses. Enjoy after a good meal when you have the time to relax and savor all that it has to offer. A great choice for a gift for the cognac connoisseur - or as a purchase for yourself as a wonderful introduction to this as-yet little heard of cognac house.

Tasting review by Lheraud Cognac:
Ample, intense aromas, notes of crème brûlée and vanilla, sweet spices in the finish
The family Lheraud have been involved in winemaking and cognac production for hundreds of years, but it was only in 1970 that exportation and promotion really began in earnest. Now producing not only cognac, but Pineau des Charentes and Armagnac as well, Lheraud exports its wares worldwide – and continues to expand into more countries on a yearly basis. Today’s owners – Andrée and Guy Lheraud – concentrate on producing Cognac Lheraud strictly on a traditional basis, and continue to work tirelessly to introduce their products to more countries and communities throughout the world.
