Description
The Prunier Vintage 1971 Petite Champagne Cognac is another premium quality vintage must-try from the house of Prunier. Offering a powerful palette containing prevailing notes of dried fruits alongside cocoa, cinnamon and black pepper as well as a long and precise finish - this Cognac will take over your senses and transport you on a tasting experience that won’t be forgotten.
In the past, locals of Cognac typically drank eaux-de-vie directly from the casks in their cellars. In honour of tradition, Prunier has been offering old Cognacs like the vintage 1971, directly from the cask at natural strength for more than 20 years now. This usually means that only three or four hundred bottles can be produced per vintage year - making each and every one even more special as they prove are rare to come by.
Over eleven generations, the House of Prunier, stands as one of the oldest Cognac houses in the prestigious Cognac region and has learnt how to keep its own history alive together with its identity and esteem for its products. Without forgetting the past the house of Prunier continues without respite in striving to offer the best quality products. Through their passion for the craft, each member of the family has maintained the motto: quality and respect of local traditions. Contained inside each and every bottle rests the history and hard-work of the Prunier family heritage.
Presentation of the bottle
Slender and sleek, the Prunier Vintage 1971 Grande Champagne bottle design is as luxurious as the Cognac it houses. Its intense golden bronze colouring embodies the rich flavourings and exceptional quality that is contained inside the bottle. The classic and timeless design of the decanter means it would sit nicely alongside others in your collection.
