A Memorable Harvest: Deau 1975 Vintage Petite Champagne Cognac
The Deau house is renowned for its smooth, outstanding quality when it comes to all things Cognac. Located in the heart of the Fins Bois region, Deau boasts many acres of vineyards, creating exquisite eaux-de-vie that produce a great variety of wonderful Cognacs. This particular vintage is not only sourced from the harvest of 1975, but uses eaux-de-vie exclusively from the Petite Champagne growing region, producing particularly rich and aromatic textures on both nose and mouth.
Deau also houses a superb distillery where the magical alchemy of Cognac production takes place, with state of the art technology blending seamlessly with the tradition, heritage and history of this centuries-old estate. A Cognac made with eaux-de-vie of this age must be treated with care, and thanks to the many years of savoir-faire gained over several generations at Deau, the master blenders are experts in producing sublime single-cru vintages, each with their own bold and unique character.
Little has been written about this unique 1975 millésime from the Petite Champagne growing region, although we're sure that if it’s anything like Deau's other gold award-winning blends than it's certainly one to test!

There is somewhat of an Orange Jolly Rancher note too - a hard candy I enjoyed often as a child. The Cognac...
Deau Vintage 1975 Petite Champagne Cognac
My favorite is the Deau black extra cognac. And this Deau Vintage 1975 cognac, what surprised me most is the artificial blowing bottle. Under the light at night, the bottle looks like stars all over the sky. It's very beautiful
About DEAU Cognac
With a history stretching all the way back to the 17th century, more than 300 years ago, the house of Deau is a true treasure among the artisanal producers of Cognac. Originally the brand grew and distilled all of its eaux-de-vie to be sold to other Cognac houses, however in more recent years, DEAU began producing under its own name. In honour of its family history and traditions, the brand is now making its mark on the Cognac industry with its own personal style and contemporary flair. All of DEAU’s Cognacs combine the mastership of aging and blending with luxurious and sophisticated design. This is the perfect gift for Cognac lovers, especially those with a soft spot for beautiful bottles.
