Growth area & soil: Grande Champagne
A Réserve Cognac aged 7-10 years from the Grande Champagne
Artisanal through and through, this Méry Melrose Grande Champagne Réserve Cognac has some incredible traits. Impressive and rich, the notes of candied fruit and full body are undeniable. It is a fine blend of eaux-de-vie between 7 and 10 years old. Double distilled in a traditional Charentais Copper pot still, François Méry draws upon generations of savoir-faire from his ancestors to present this fine Reserve Cognac. Bottled to order, he ensures a wholesome and responsible process of enjoying Cognac from the vine to the bottle. It contains Cognac from the Premier Cru, and organic cane sugar syrup.
Available in a limited quantity, it is a precious spirit and an incredible aged expression of the Grande Champagne terroir. Due to its chalky soil and maritime climate, the eaux-de-vie descending from this cru is truly exceptional.

The distinctive design is influenced by prehistoric paintings that can be found on the walls of caves in France. These markings date back 18,000 years, when animals and man lived in harmony together. Méry Melrose is everything that an organic producer should represent in the 21st century.
The bottle for the Melrose Reserve Cognac features an etching of a bison, and is a 70cl bottle, proofed at 40% ABV.
