Description

Château de Beaulon Pineau Collection Privée 1985 Ruby 30 Years Old

The Chateau de Beaulon Pineau Collection Privée 1985 Ruby 30 years old is an exceptionally well aged and full-bodied Red Pineau des Charentes. A fruity and elegant Pineau offering aromas that are similar to those of a vintage port. Made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes, the Pineau was aged for a total of 30 years in old oak casks. The lengthy maturation process has formed a truly magnificent melange of mellow merlots, that together have curated a blend, dripping in style. A rare vintage that should be sipped and savoured down to every last drop.

Pineau is a luxurious beverage that should tantalize the palates of those who appreciate a tasting experience of pure fruity, deliciousness. Château de Beaulon are artisans of both Cognac and Pineau. Sustainability and a balanced approach to wine growing allows this brand to stand proud in creating quality products, that are organically based and do not disrupt the land and surrounding ecology at their family estate. Offering a variety of different products, all of different ages and strengths- this brand is one to look out for. It is sure to please those who are new tasters of Pineau, as well as those who are well accustomed with it, as an artisanal aperitif must-have.

Presentation of the bottle

The classic bottle design showcases the sumptuous deep ruby colouring of the Pineau inside. Upon pouring in the glass, admire the shimmering glints of bronze which are the result of its great age. A remarkable reserve, produced in limited quantities that serves as the perfect addition to an afternoon aperitif amongst friends.

How to enjoy

With its rich and fruity flavors, this 1985 Ruby Pineau can be appreciated on its own, as a pre-dinner aperitif, or alongside a dessert as an after dinner treat. We recommend pairing this velvety vintage with a chocolate dessert; as the sensual aromas of the wine entwined with those of the deep chocolate will seduce the senses. If that doesn’t hit the spot; figs, gingerbread, cinnamon and prunes also match sweetly with this Pineau des Charentes. Serve it chilled, relax and let the experience show you how to appreciate life’s simple pleasures.

About Château de Beaulon Cognac

The beautiful façade and setting of the Chateau de Beaulon Cognac estate is a fitting setting for producing fine cognac. The chateau itself dates back to the year 1480, with it entering into the hands of the Beaulon family in 1510. The family name remains the same to this day, although it is now run by the very capable Christian Thomas. Chateau de Beaulon Cognac has always been, and continues to be, created purely from the fruits of a single vineyard, and is recognized around the world as being a highly desirable, artisan produced cognac.
