80 years and it shows
Although I know other Cru's produce great cognacs there's just something about really old Grand Champagne cognac that is just hard to top. This Tiffon is so complex, smooth, the right amount of sweetness and rancio to create an iconic experience. The current 94 score on CE is, in my opinion spot ...
Incredibly complex and well balanced
Vert de Coeur Distillerie 108 Plantes. Batch size: 108 bottles, Number of plants: 108. The 108 Plants includes: small absinthe and large absinthe, which I assume to mean the artemisia absinthium, harquebus, 5-6 types of mint, 4-5 types of pepper, 4 types of ginger, eucalyptus, lavender, basil, th...
Symphonie - a great balance between different flavors
Nose: Orange, orange zest and peel, fine oak, something tart. There are also rose flavors and essential oil notes that I can't differentiate. With few drops of water a more distinguishable peach note emerges. A very good nose. Palate: Orange, a bit bitter, strong oak, sweet pastry, some tobacco...

100% ugni blanc. It is said that the Godet house is the second oldest in all of Cognac, founded in 1588 in La Rochelle (rugby and sailing fans ahoy). Beautiful amber
Beautiful amber with copper and gold highlights. Old cigar boxes indeed, then deep floral accents, rancio with a hint of spices. Sweet and a little spicy quickly maturing to a full body taste despite physically seeming thin. Nice finish with the sweetness lingering.
Exotic Armagnac
Interesting nose with fruits (apricot, plumes and grapefruit) and flowers. A bit of caramel and exotic woods. Interseting, with some time in the glass a balsamic vinegar note appears along with exotic fruits vibe, tartness. This reminds of some 20+ year old Georgian brandies that I had. If I have...
Stellar Choice by Sophie & Max
Nose: Orange, Nutty, Vanilla, Floral (gentle rose touch is there), Fruit Basket Mouth: Darker than the nose with more nuts, spices, orange, dried fruits, chocolate, wood, and a bit of leather. A very good cognac that I enjoy drinking very much.
Outstanding Grande Champagne
Nose: Dried fruits, plums and peaches, rancio, delicate tobacco, polished leather, spices, menthol. Very balanced without aggressive or overpowering notes. Mouth: Menthol, Dark Chocolate, dried fruits, some vanilla. Very long aftertaste, a bit bitter with tobacco. This is a spectacular cognac,...
