Couprie Liqueur d'Amande
The Couprie Liqueur d'Amande is an unusual combination of the wonders of cognac with the bitter-sweet taste of almonds. Strange as it might sound - it works! The cognac is a product of the sought-after, premier growth region - Grande Champagne. Eaux-de-vie from the famous chalky soils mixes with the strong taste of almonds and works wonders on the palate. Light, yet surprisingly fruity, it is an incredibly versatile choice.
Produced by Pierre Couprie, which received its distillation permit in 1750, this Cognac house boasts a long history of expertise. As smaller producers, quality over quantity is an important ethos for this house. With more time to experiment, excellent concoctions like the Liqueur d'Amande are a staple element to the unique Pierre Couprie creations. Try it and you will want to dive deeper into this house's marvelous Cognacs.
Presentation of the bottle
The unique green display of this cognac speaks for itself. Nodding to earthy notes and succulent flavors, you can almost summon a taste from the eye. Plant illustrations beautifully unearth the contents, complemented by the traditional Couprie branding to mark the house's wonderful efforts. Eye-catching from first glance, the Cognac itself definitely delivers on the bottle's promise.
How to enjoy
This is a Cognac that can be enjoyed in a variety of ways. Try it neat over a little ice and accompany it with a dessert. Or combine it with your favorite mixer to make a refreshing, long drink. Alternatively, use this delectable nectar as an extra special base for a cocktail. The choice is yours.
About Couprie Cognac
When Pierre Couprie received the distillation permit in 1750, he introduced a long history for the Couprie family. Their estate in Ambleville in the Grande Champagne has been the home to the cognac house sine generations. Like many smaller producers, Couprie Cognac uses only its own wine production to ensure and control the highest quality of their eaux-de-vie. Courpie also produces Pineau des Charentes and liqueurs to broaden their product range.
