Description

Couprie Napoléon Cognac

Couprie Napoleon Cognac is a well-aged blend of eaux-de-vies that are initially aged in new oak barrels and then transferred to older Limousin barrels to continue the aging process. Each of the Cognacs used in the blend are grown in the Premier cru of Grande Champagne.

Elegant copper highlights, a lingering bouquet, and a powerful, round flavour make this a very distinguished Cognac. The oaky characteristics and candied fruit flavours coat the palate after the very first sip.

The house of Couprie is run by a family of vine-growers that have been based in the Grande Champagne area of Cognac since 1730. Putting both their passion and skills to good use, this Cognac house maintains centuries of family tradition by distilling their own wine from start to finish - all in the quest of producing fine, flavourful and elegant Cognac purely all for the enjoyment of Cognac connoisseurs.

Presentation of the bottle

Dressed in a traditional decanter, the Cognacs copper robe glimmers from inside out. Its classic design is in keeping with both Couprie as a brand and the blend’s status as a history rich Napoleon Cognac. Blue accents on the label add a pop of color to the bottle and allow it to stand out on the shelf amongst other spirits with class.

How to enjoy

A delicious Cognac to enjoy as a digestif at the end of a meal. Drink neat to appreciate the Cognac and its flavors in their entirety. Pair with a cigar to make the pleasurable experience linger far beyond its long lasting aromas.

About Couprie Cognac

When Pierre Couprie received the distillation permit in 1750, he introduced a long history for the Couprie family. Their estate in Ambleville in the Grande Champagne has been the home to the cognac house sine generations. Like many smaller producers, Couprie Cognac uses only its own wine production to ensure and control the highest quality of their eaux-de-vie. Courpie also produces Pineau des Charentes and liqueurs to broaden their product range.
