A rich and warming nose. Smells and flavors are nicely integrated: fruit, oak, and spice all present but melted. In terms of fruit, there’s quince paste, dried apricot, and fig. Caramel and toffee add a layer of depth and richness, lending to an overall seductive and warming Cognac. A leather note and cinnamon spice further contribute to this feeling of warmth. Balanced, rich, and round. A chewy Cognac for Fall and Winter.

Description

Deau 2 Liter Dame Jeanne “Reserve Ancestrale”. The Cognac is a never-before released complex blend of Grande & Petite Champagne, Borderies, and Fins Bois - all eaux-de-vie aged from 25-30 years and beyond, bottled at 43% abv. Its looks are just as refined and elegant as the Cognac inside: a 2 liter dame jeanne, wax sealed, and wrapped with cord and a artisanal label tag. A very limited quantity of these dame jeannes are produced, so this is a first come, first served offering. Cheers!
