The Camus 40 Ans Rarissimes Limited Edition Cognac is a delight from the house of Camus. Created by cellar master, Patrick Leger, this wonderful 40 year old Cognac joins the selection, 'Rarissimes' - a speciality of the house of age specifc Cognacs that are released in strictly limited batches. This one is from the Borderies terroir of the region - the smallest of the main crus, and one that's known for imparting delicious aromas of violets, and producing extremely smooth, well-rounded eaux-de-vie.
This one was bottled in 2014 - after spending the previous four decades gently aging in the barrel. Only 991 bottles have been produced, meaning that if you want to be among the few people in the world who get the chance to taste it, then you'd better be quick! This delightful Cognac comes in a simplistic, traditional style Cognac bottle and wooden presentation box.
