Back in 1818, the future King of England (who would become George IV) commisioned a cask of "tierçon cask of excellent quality old pale", from James Hennessy. This limited edition Hennessy VSOP Privilège 200th Anniversary Cognac is a tribute to this 200 years of heritage. Hennessy called upon the talents of one of today's most innovative digital artists to create this delightful carafe, Can Buyukberber, from Turkey–now based in San Francisco.
The unique bottle represents both the heritage of Hennessy's history, with the futuristic direction of the company. Combining old with new is something that Hennessy excels at, and this limited edition carafe and presentation box certainly hits the spot. This will certainly be a bottle that the Cognac collector, and the Hennessy collector in particular, will be keen to add to their collection.
Anniversary drink - So Celebrate - Enjoy it.
Will be a classic collectors items, even if the contents have been drunk.. the Tin is beautifully inscribed, and will be worth the value to a true collector..
About Hennessy Cognac
You may think, that with Hennessy’s ability to innovate and push boundaries, they are a thoroughly ‘modern’ Cognac brand. This is a large part of their immense success and influence. The very French brand based in the Charente region, in fact, dates all the way back to 1765 - to Ireland - but have managed to shapeshift enough times to remain more relevant than ever before - with current Master Blender Renaud Fillioux. Their range of uber-trendy products is ever expanding, and their marketing campaigns all the more captivating. There is no doubt that ‘Henny’ culture is alive and kicking: both Cognac and a fifth of Hennessy are mentioned in what seems like hundreds of songs.
