Description
Courvoisier VSOP 70cl - the ultimate cocktail Cognac
A sure classic from one of the Big Four, the original Courvoisier VSOP Cognac is a timeless bottle. Skilfully crafted by expert blenders, it is a blend of several crus with a balance between the Grande and Petite Champagne and the Fins Bois, which have been selected for their aromatic potential. This classic Very Superior Old Pale has been aged for between 8 and 12 years in a selection of Troncais and Limousin oak barrels, with distillation taken from green grapes of both Grande and Petite Champagne areas. This VSOP blend is a medium bodied classic.
The harmonious quality of the Fine Champagne gives the Cognac total mastery, while the Fins Bois gives it a floral and fruity character.

Courvoisier VSOP is solid peach and cream cognac
Nose: peaches and cream. Roasted walnuts. Spring flowers. Fins Bois and Champagne characters complement each other beautify. I really like the nose. Palate: a bit disappointing after the great nose. There is sharpness on the palate, that I didn’t expect from VSOP, aged between 8-10 years. The...

I have enjoyed this Triple Oak Courvoisier cognac, since I first bought it. I especially liked the smoothness and flavor. I look forward to buying another bottle. I only drink a little bit and enjoy it in the evening. I am testing other Cognac‘s, but so far ,This is my favorite. MICHAEL H
My favorite "affordable" Cognac.
This is a very pleasing Cognac which has to my sense of smell, a very pleasant floral aroma, and the taste buds seem to always have a very "nutlike" sensation. Some say toasted almonds, which comes close, but possibly toasted walnuts is closer. Just a little taste of the oak is there, too. A very...
About Courvoisier Cognac
Courvoisier is amongst the four leading Cognac houses in the world - also known as the 'Big Four'. Legend has it that the emperor Napoléon himself chose Courvoisier as his preferred Cognac, therefore Courvoisier brandy is often referred to as “The Cognac of Napoleon”. The company dates back to 1828 and since has its headquarters in the town of Jarnac. With prestigious bottles such as Courvoisier Napoléon or Josephine, the Cognac house is at the top of the luxury spirits market. The Courvoisier VS, VSOP, and Rose Liqueur are also very popular. The drink is strongly ingrained in US Hip Hop culture with Busta Rhymes and P Diddy dedicating the song “Pass the Courvoisier” to the traditional brand.
