Growth area & soil: Petite Champagne
Bertrand VS Cognac
This VS has been created with total respect for everything that's traditional about the art of making cognac. From the tending of the soil right through the process to the bottling and packaging, the house of Bertrand is all about paying homage to this time-honored art. Well-balanced, floral essence with notes of vanilla and new oak, the VS is a refreshing, vibrant blend that is undeniably enjoyable.
Crafted from the Petite Champagne region, this single estate Cognac is a 5-year-old blend. Produced from the Ugni Blanc and Colombard grape, double distilled from white wine and aged in French oak from Limousin and Tronçais forests, it is a true embodiment of brilliance. A creation from a Cognac house that boasts centuries of tradition, it is an excellent selection to chose.
Presentation of the bottle
Presented in a clean, sophisticated display, it is a fine selection down to the final detail. Black, white and gold hint at the tradition and expertise behind its creation, complemented by swirl, sans serif type. A minimalist design that allows the Cognac to speak for itself. Finished in a black and gold cardboard presentation box, it's a brilliantly bold selection.
How to enjoy
A truly versatile choice, this Cognac can be enjoyed on its own to appreciate its floral, oaky essence. Or, try adding into an original cocktail for a little something special.
