If time travel is possible, then tasting the Lheraud Vintage 1970 Fins Bois Cognac must surely be a way of doing so. The grapes that began their journey all those decades ago are only now available - in a pure, vintage form - for you to drink. What an addition to a Cognac collection! And surely the perfect gift for the true connoiseur.
This cask-strength Cognac (at 48°) is the creation of true Cognac masters. The expertise of the Lheraud family goes back centuries (although they only began selling under their own name in the 1970's). Today, the house's range of vintage Cognacs are extremely well thought of. This one, from the Fins Bois harvest of 1970, certainly showcases why they're becoming so sought after. Enjoy it neat, with a cigar or strong coffee, or perhaps on the rocks- it's up to you. A superb and unique Cognac.

The family Lheraud have been involved in winemaking and cognac production for hundreds of years, but it was only in 1970 that exportation and promotion really began in earnest. Now producing not only cognac, but Pineau des Charentes and Armagnac as well, Lheraud exports its wares worldwide – and continues to expand into more countries on a yearly basis. Today’s owners – Andrée and Guy Lheraud – concentrate on producing Cognac Lheraud strictly on a traditional basis, and continue to work tirelessly to introduce their products to more countries and communities throughout the world.
