Description
Larsen Aqua Ignis A.I. Cognac
The Larsen Aqua Ignis A.I. is a distinctive blend encompassing delectable tones of vanilla, oak and roasted coffee… a true Cognac delight. Produced by a unique and never-done-before approach, this selection is characterised by a triple steam and bracero toasting technique. Aged beyond the simple method of resting in old casks, each French barrel was plunged into hot water then toasted over an open fire, not once, but three times.
It is this exceptional process that offers the name Aqua Ignis, which translates to ‘water’ and ‘fire’. It is also thanks to this unique production that offers the favourable flavours of toast and spice. A credit to its endearing toasty and spicy flavour. Plus, its also the reason for its unique name, which translates to 'water' and 'fire'. A true Cognac masterpiece with exceptional originality.
Presentation of the bottle
With a decor beautifully balanced between tradition and contemporary chic, the design of this bottle is a superb representation of its production optimising both historic and evolutionary processes. A white label with gold type and top creates a clean and elegant look that every connoisseur will appreciate. Understated, yet exceptional it would make a sublime gift.
How to enjoy
To fully savour the toasty aroma and velvety texture, this Cognac is best enjoyed on its own. Add a dash of water to embody the distinctive palate and bring the delectable aromas to the surface.

Very pleasant aroma of cakes and heavily roasted coffee beans. After a long sniff, you can also feel the scent of vanilla and oranegat. Can easily keep up with my current favorite cognacs (Jean Fillioux, Claude Thorin). Was a special offer at a reduced price. Aqua Ignis can also be bought at regular...
About Larsen Cognac
Known as ‘The Cognac of Vikings,’ Larsen Cognac has striven to produce and offer products of high quality at selected points of sale throughout the world.
A family run concern, the story of Cognac Larsen dates back to 1926 when Jens Reidar Larsen made the move from his home country of Norway to France. Seduced by the quality of the brandy that came from the town of Cognac, he devoted much time and effort to become a connoisseur in the subject, and naturally progressed to owning and running his own Cognac house.
Today, Larsen Cognacs are as well known for their luxury packaging as the quality of their eaux-de-vie, with Limoges Porcelain and Baccarat Crystal featuring strongly with many of their premium Cognacs.
