Warming

Sweet fruity toffee on the nose with citrus, apples and a touch of licquorice.
More apples on the palate. Tangy, sweet and lightly sour. The caramel comes through shortly after with a little bit of heat and a coconut spike.
The warmth builds on the finish with cinnamon sugar, clove and little spikes of hot fruit. It goes on for a while, fading gently as it causes the juices to flow.
Some have commented that this isn’t as well priced as it seems because of the 50cl bottle, but it’s surely worth noting that it’s also 46%. That makes it 57.5cl at 40%. Ok it’s still short of 70cl, but it does bridge the gap somewhat.
That aside, I do enjoy the higher strength. It does bring some heat that those looking for very smooth spirits may not appreciate, but this is a really nice drink in my opinion. Lots of fruit and good complexity at this price point.
