Nose: the freshness surprises us; the anise is well present, underlined by licorice and cinnamon. Citrus notes, between grapefruit and lemon, followed by a hint of balsamic and camphor.

Palate: the attack is round, greedy; the freshness is confirmed. This pastis fills the palate with fruity aromas and a hint of liquorice pepper.

Finish: long, supple, pleasant and thirst-quenching.

Maison Vistors Distillery Pink Pastaga (Pastis)

Embark on a unique journey of flavors with the Maison Victors Distillery's Pink Pastaga. This inventive spin on pastis, lovingly crafted by knifemaker-turned-distiller Gilles Victors, offers a harmonious blend of traditional and exotic botanicals. The delicate infusion of Timut pepper adds an unexpected burst of citrus notes, perfectly balanced with the classic star anise and other carefully selected botanicals. The result is a refreshingly aromatic and delightful pastis that shakes up traditional codes. Whether you're a longtime pastis aficionado or new to the spirit, you're sure to appreciate the exceptional freshness and innovative approach of Pink Pastaga.

Origin: A Passion Project in the Southwest

The Maison Victors Distillery, situated just outside of Toulouse in the beautiful Southwest of France, is the brainchild of Gilles Victors. With over 15 years of experience as a knifemaker and a love for spirits, Gilles pursued technical courses in French and Scottish distilleries after being captivated by whisky masterclasses. Today, his distillery is a testament to his dedication to purity, sustainability, and local sourcing, creating truly remarkable gins and pastis.

Production Process: Slow Infusion for Maximum Flavor

Pink Pastaga is the result of a slow and meticulous infusion process, with the spirit being aged for an extended period in vats. This process allows for the full expression of the unique citrus notes brought about by the Timut pepper, which is carefully macerated to maximize its flavor. Combined with the classic pastis botanical, star anise, and others, the result is a gourmande, aromatic, and exceptionally fresh pastis. As Gilles Victors shows, Provence doesn't hold a monopoly on crafting remarkable pastis!
