Description

Taste of Paradise: Prince Hubert de Polignac Heritage Cognac

Prince Hubert de Polignac Héritage Cognac is an exceptional blend of only four eaux-de-vie, all sourced from the Grande Champagne region. These treasures from the deepest recesses of the Polignac Paradise cellar have formed an exceptional Hors d’Age Cognac, a delight for all the senses - on the eye, the nose, and the palate. Combining mellowness, finesse, strength and harmony, there’s no doubt that the Cellar Master has made a stunning selection, as demonstrated by the powerful rancio notes that only grace the finest old Cognacs. Naturally, this expression is presented in a magnificent crystal decanter - contemporary in design, a work of art that will stand out in any collection.

Prince de Polignac Cognac is named after one of France's oldest noble families, members of which include Cardinal De Polignac (French ambassador in Poland and Rome in the 17th century), Countess Yolande de Polignac - a personal friend of Marie Antoinette - and Prince Jules de Polignac, a cabinet minister under Charles X. It was their descendant, Prince Hubert de Polignac, who eventually allowed the Cognac producer Mounier to use his name for one of their bottlings in 1947. After the trademark was registered, the Prince himself took to travelling the world to promote the brand, sealing its association with royalty, adventure and luxury.

Presentation of the Bottle

The timeless decanter features straight lines and a heavy base, focusing entirely on the liquid inside. Simple but effective details - such as the cord wrapped around the neck, and the large crystal stopper - add to a feeling of luxury, further emphasized by the luxurious leather presentation case.

How to Enjoy Prince Hubert de Polignac Heritage Cognac

The perfect digestif, this is a wonderful Premier Cru Cognac to enjoy in good company, on special occasions, and when you have plenty of time to savor the moment. Pour into tulip glasses and wait a few moments to allow the aromas to fully open up.
