Description
A Grande Champagne Cognac with a Lalique decanter
Inspired by the turning of the seasons from one to the next, the Hardy Four Seasons Autumn Cognac is a set of four incredible Lalique decanters. Everything about a Hardy Cognac is extravagant and elegant, and the Autumn Cognac is no exception. With warm and sweet gourmet flavors, it is the perfect Cognac to evoke memories of this golden season of shedding and exceptional colors.
The sheer rarity of this Cognac cannot be stressed enough; it is a delicate assemblage of smaller batches of eaux-de-vie descended from the Grande Champagne cru. The importance of the Premier Cru to the world of Cognac cannot be underestimated; its unique geological composition thanks to millions of years of fossilization has led to the optimal soil conditions for growing grapes for fine eaux-de-vie. The high limestone and chalk content means that the soil benefits from exceptional drainage, and also exposure to the sun.
Armand Hardy in fact kept small batches of eaux-de-vie from the Premier Cru at the end of the Second World War, and it is this assemblage that makes up the Hardy Four Seasons Autumn Cognac today. The stand out factor of the Hardy Four Seasons Autumn is the stunning decanter designed by none other than Marie-Claude Lalique.

About Hardy Cognac
With a history dating back to 1863, Cognac Hardy is well known for quality cognacs and traditional production methods. Passed down throughout the generations, this family house of cognac, which can be recognized by its rooster logo, was one of the very first to embrace the spoils of a worldwide distribution network. Thanks to the love of an entrepreneurial Englishman for the French Charentaise countryside, Cognac Hardy boasts a 150 year history of providing a range of cognacs to the four corners of the globe.
