Description

Impérial N°58 Cognac 70cl

A rare treasure indeed, the Domaine de Chateau Guynot Imperial No.58 Cognac is available in very limited quantity. Aged for 58 years in oak barrels and left to sleep in the cellars of this historic Cognac house, it is a stunning Cognac in a beautiful decanter. Situated between Saintes, a Gallic-Roman village and Royan is the Domaine de Chateau Guynot, the former home of the Marquis de Monconseil.

The history of this Cognac house is still very much prevalent - the cooling room which dates back to the eighteenth century, stands at the heart of the domain in a wooded park. In one of the four main Cognac terroirs, they grow Ugni Blanc and Colombard grapes for their high-quality bottles of Cognac. The chateau distills their Cognac by the process of double distillation in traditional alembic stills. The aging process takes place in oak barrels, in the quietness of their cellars.

Imperial No. 58 Decanter

The decanter is an exquisite teardrop shape with a golden stopper, and arrives encased in a beautiful presentation box with a silky interior.
