Lehmann Reserve de Famille Poire Williams Eau-de-vie

This Family Reserve Eaux-de-vie are obtained in the respect of a traditional and ancestral know-how transmitted in the family from father to son since 1850. The distillation is always done in copper stills, by double distillation.

The result of this distillation is the restitution of the fruit in its pure state. It is the heart of the distillation that Lehmann keeps in Dame-Jeanne at high degrees to improve during 8 years minimum before bottling. This is why these eaux-de-vie are distilled only during the best fruit harvests when the quality is impeccable and exceptional. It all starts with an extremely rigorous selection of the fruit, because the quality of the aroma, the flavor and the finesse of the eau-de-vie will depend on this selection. After distillation, the heart of the spirit is kept at a high temperature in a Dame-Jeanne (glass cask), as the ancients did in the past.
