Normandin Mercier's 150th-anniversary cuvée represents the elite of Cognac. Produced exclusively from grapes selected from the Grande Champagne, Premier Cru – the eau-de-vie was kept in the Normandin Mercier cellars until ready for bottling. As a Cuvee Cognac, it is extremely rare in quantity as its eau-de-vie has been selected from one particular cask. The blend was matured in barrels made from hundreds of years old oak trees found on the Normandin estate.
In celebration of Jules Normandin, the founder of the Cognac house – this offering is symbolic of his legacy and outstanding reputation in the world of Cognac.
Founded in 1872, the House of Normandin Mercier exudes passion and old knowledge that today lives on through the work of Edouard, Jean-Marie and Audrey Normandin, who form a formidable family affair. Sitting amidst the beautiful surroundings of Château de la Péraudière, Normandin Mercier produces Cognacs that range from a VSOP upwards and has developed a stellar reputation thanks to the finesse of its Grande and Petite Champagne Cognacs as well as their loyalty to traditional methods.
