Roland Bru Cognac

Cognac Roland Bru is a small house with vines in both the regions of Grande Champagne and Fins Bois. The Cellar Master Phillippe Fillon works hard to ensure that the cognacs of Roland Bru are created in the traditional manner faithful to that of the region.

    History of Cognac Roland Bru

As with so many of both the smaller and larger cognac houses, Cognac Roland Bru has been passed down through the generations – each farmer, distiller, owner and maître de chai passing on their knowledge and secrets to the next in line.

    Roland Bru Cognac Today

Today, the blends of Cognac Roland Bru are created by experienced Cellar Master Phillippe Fillon. The house owns 40 hectares of vineyards in the Fins Bois terroirs, and 20 hectares in Grande Champagne. They also purchase other grapes from the various wine growers in Cognac, along with eaux-de-vie. However, all the blending and cognac creation is carried out in-house, by the personal hand of Phillippe Fillon.

    News, Products and Prices

Roland Bru produces a small range of cognacs. These include Cognac Roland Bru VS – that retails at around €23 per bottle, a VSOP and a rich and powerful XO.

Cognac Roland Bru XO is produced solely from eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne.

The contemporary bottles of Cognac Roland Bru are designed by Alpha Centauri Design, the flagship product being the bottle Roland Bru Extra Eternite.
