Description

Introducing Distillerie Garnier's Fine Calvados. Since its establishment in 1877 by Pierre Garnier in Frenes, the distillery has been producing exceptional quality spirits. Today, the father-and-son duo of Patrick and Nicolas continue to carry on the legacy of their forefathers.

Garnier Fine Calvados is made with 100% apples, carefully selected from 30 varieties of bitter and bittersweet apples. The fruits are meticulously washed and manually sorted before being crushed and pressed, ensuring only the finest quality apples make it into each bottle. This manual sorting process is a testament to the distillery's commitment to delivering superior products to its customers, and for its utmost respect of the apple.

After natural fermentation lasting several months, the liquid is distilled using a copper column still, purchased in 1923 and still in use today. The aging process then takes place in French oak barrels, imparting a distinct and refined flavor profile to the French spirit.

The result is a fresh and fruity Calvados that is perfect for mixology. Its versatility makes it a great choice for a range of occasions, whether enjoyed on its own or mixed in cocktails and long drinks. It also pairs perfectly with apple sorbets, and can also be used to in the creation of fine desserts.

Garnier Fine Calvados may lack the complexity of a mature Calvados, but it more than makes up for it in drinkability and the pure respect it has for the soft fruit flavors of the apple. So whether you're a seasoned Calvados connoisseur or a newcomer to the spirit, Garnier Fine Calvados is sure to impress with its smooth and refreshing taste.

Experience the rich history and tradition of Distillerie Garnier with each sip of Fine Calvados.
